Serious Case Review
Chaired by the Manager of the NSPCC service in Coventry and responsible for undertaking reviews of cases where abuse or neglect of a child or young person is known or suspected, and the child or young person has been seriously harmed or died, and where there is a case for concern as to the way in which the local professionals and services worked together to safeguard the child or young
person. Members are required to analyse and review each case to identify learning,
identify clear recommendations and specific actions for implementation, and then disseminate findings across partner agencies.
