Practice and Quality Assurance Group
Please note: This group was formed by the merger of the Quality Assurance and Procedures sub groups.
This sub group advises on and agrees local policies and procedures for interagency work to protect children within the framework provided by ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’ (2010).
It is also responsible for receiving and acting on comments or complaints, from families or CSCB agency staff, arising from child protection enquires/conferences. It undertakes and commission’s audits in respect of inter-agency child protection services, by agency requests and CSCB agreements, evaluating how well agencies work together to protect children. Audits are undertaken with the aim of enhancing, and where necessary seeking to improve, interagency working to safeguard children.
