Faith Groups and Safeguarding Children
Coventry and Warwickshire local Safeguarding Children Boards have jointly set up a forum focusing on safeguarding children in faith settings. Members include representatives from the two Safeguarding Children Boards, the Christian denominations and representatives from multi faith forums around Coventry and Warwickshire.
The forum meets four times per year and acts as a point of reference on issues relating to safeguarding children in faith groups and communities in the area.
Members from faith communities share information and concerns and gain clarity around safeguarding children issues.
